FINALLY! a Watari community! it's nice to know people listen to me. :D I'm Joni Quest and I've been a Watari girl since I first saw a music video using YnM (when I didn't even know what it WAS). what can I say, I'm from seattle and smart guys with long hair are THE trend.
I also like Tatsumi and think that Watari x Tatsumi is the perfect paring. (they'd be so good for each other)
and I am a 003 fan. (such a cute owl!)

Well, hello everyone. *waves* I've been a fan of YnM for a good number of years now, and immediately decided that Watari was my favorite character. Plus, the fact that Seki Toshihiko is his seiyuu. :3 I adore Seki-sama. *ahem* Anyway, yes. Watari is a great character! He's a good personality to have in the mixture of lovable angsty charas. ^___^ And 003 is just about the cutest thing ever. XD

As for Watari pairings... Well, I just like him to be by himself. >.>;; Call me crazy. XD I'll read any pairing, though. I'm a very open-minded lady.

*Steps up to the mic and taps on it a couple of times.* Testing, testing... okay I think it's on.

Well, a quick introduction. I'm Laekin and I'm a Watari addict. :D Of course anyone who knows me knows this! Folks also know that I'm a TatsumixWatari pairing fan as well, something I'll admit to having gotten from the manga more than the anime.

For this first post I've added an essay I did on my feelings about Watari, as put together from what we learn about the man from the manga. This essay, along with a lot of other great Yami goodness can be found on http://katcom.squidkitty.org/
One thing that I think is great about the character of Watari (among so many things) is his very mysterious nature. I wish there had been more room in the anime for them to have explored those sides of him but, I think all of us wish the anime had just flat out been a little longer! But that's what makes for fun character discussions, of which I'm hoping for many!!! :D

Edit to add, I do reference moments in the manga in this essay so if you consider that to be a Spoiler type of item be warned! :)

*waves* Hi all! Lots of you already know me, since I'm a huge Watari fan. Don't really have anything of interest to post, though. ^^;

Actually, I was just thinking of something the other day. What do all of you think of Watari's obsession with the gender-switching potion? For some reason, it doesn't seem to be a topic that comes up very often among Watari fans. But I was trying to do a background story on Watari a while ago, and I had to come up with a reason why he was so obsessed with a gender switching potion. And I could not think of a reason.

Although I think my favorite reason I've seen was that he wanted to see Kuro's reaction to Terazuma being turned into a woman. ^_^;
